Like the battle’s nowhere near over however I’m in control of how it’s playing out. Definitely feeling proud though that’s for sure

I have 98 days. Drank for many years. Got tired of just feeling like shit. The hardest thing for me is doing something instead of drinking. I am getting there

I hear you there. I haven’t reached the point where I feel I’m ready to return to work so that leaves me with a lot of extra time. I’ve been occupying myself by going to the gym, going on walks at the beach, meetings 5 nights a week, doctor and therapist once a week, odd jobs at my parents and sisters houses and all while trying to keep a happy healthy mindset and not let myself get too dragged down by depression and anxiety. Congrats on your almost 100 days!! That’s freaking awesome Shep

I go to NA meetings 5 nights a week, therapist plus doctor and group once a week. No sponsor though I haven’t taken that route just yet
