Today was my little babes first day of school & I’m so thankful I get to be a sober, clear minded mama. Forever grateful for them.

With so many years gone by, now, I tend to forget that I was the child of an alcoholic. I remember him drunk, and I remember him sober. He was always a devoted father- in his own way. As children we don’t really understand the adult world but I knew there was a difference, especially when he got sober. You’ve done something special for your kids that they may not recognize today but which will have a lasting and positive impact well into their adult years and their own families.
