Took me almost two years, but I told my story in my home group this weekend and then it dawned on me ... I told it here first to this community and my friends and support here.
Feeling very grateful 
for the love and support that this place provided before I knew anyone else to talk to at the beginning of recovery. Thank you all for being here!

I told my story at the detox here in Jax last week and as much as I hope it helped someone I know it was great for me, "you only keep what u have by giving it away!!!!"

Very happy for you. I remember the first time I told my story. We actually tell three stories the first time. The one that we tell on the way to the meeting, the one that we tell at the podium and the one that we tell on the way home. LOL Right?
