Last year on this day I was absolutely hammered on a first date with a terrible human. Yup picture to the left “classy” first date 10 vodka tonics in. Picture on the right one of my first sober first dates. Well, that didn’t work out for me either the process was clear and I had a clear mind. I knew that dating somebody who didn’t drink would be really hard to fine but dating somebody who cared that I didn’t drink would be even harder. I did find that, even if it was short lived. Everything is a lesson. I learned that I don’t want to date anyone who drinks regularly to get drunk, seems simple but I had to learn that. This person never pressured me to drink and never would but at the end of the day our priorities were just different. I appreciate every lesson my first short term dating experience gave me. I know my worth and I will wait
