Tonight I am trying to keep the scary thoughts away

I relate a lot! I'm sending positive and high vibrations your way. Thank you for having the courage to share!

Cool, BUT, keep posting, keep speaking up, coming back, being heard, being seen.

A friend reminds me regularly, be kind, show up for yourself, be courageous...

For those that dont need that type of encouragement, great. Im proud to say I DO. GlZ you are here and many needed to read this, that I assure you.

Via…. There is solution and this is what worked for me.
I had to have a plan of action. Celebrated 30 years of sobriety this Summer. Long term sobriety is available for each and every one of us.

Have you worked all 12 steps with a sponsor?
Read the first 164 pages of the Big Book?
Are you attending at least 3 AA meetings a week?
Are you starting and ending your day with prayer and meditation? Plus reading from 24 hours a day and Daily Reflections each morning?
Best wishes

Good morning Via

I’m sorry to hear you are struggling. I too have suffered severe trauma through my childhood. By working the steps, I was able to get through my trauma. I know it sounds easy too easy if we admit it. But it is really that simple. It’s hard when we have to put the pen to paper and really see it. But I pray that you do because it is well worth it. I just celebrated 23 years clean and sober. I have you in my prayers. God bless you.
