Too easy to lose friends, I guess

First, the people and places I lost specifically during the pandemic; the friends who stop existing if you don't see them everyday, the places that aren't fun sober, the folks who always want a sip. It feels like I graduated and moved out of town.

Second, in my recovery, I need people who care about me and who want to support me, and love me while I struggle to grow in sobriety. Friends who recognize what I've lost and who understand what this re-becoming feels like.

I'm hoping my depression lightens a bit. And that the stress I feel about being homeless won't convince me chug a little wine. :upside_down_face:

When someone shows you who they are, please believe them. And if a relationship can't grow WITH you, it's dust.
