Tough Morning

Struggled to sleep. Woke up at 1:52 am. Didn’t go back until maybe 4 something. Had to be up at 6am. Didnt get up. Arrived later to work. I want to go back home and sleep.

It’s like that some days for me as well. I’ve just learned to push through it no matter what. Sometimes I have to remind myself this min by min though lol

Seriously though what do you normally do right before bed? Maybe 30-1 hour before bed?

The problem I believe it was because I took a nap earlier in the day for like two hours.

Yes it was. Seeing my students always brightens my day. I am a speech therapist.

I’m praying I will too. I’m going to get a light workout in and do some reading surely that will make me sleepy.

At times it does. It is what it is lol. I’ve learned that just because you have to do something doesn’t mean you have to like it lol

This is interesting . I drink a quart or more of milk b4 I go to bed... some of tht milk converts to melatonin inside our body . Puts me to sleep every time. Tastes good too lol :laughing:

Early in recovery for me as well as just some other times, I just wanted to sleep as well. To rest my mind and my body from the world and all of it's complications, problems, people, and even positive happenings. I just needed a rest. As long as it's not to a point of isolation or missing work or other important obligations etc. regularly, I personally don't see an issue w sleep. It's good for our bodies and maybe you just needed it.

Me too, trying to get into a diet and exercise routin, but first step I need to set the same bedtime and wake up time each day, do the best I can, and measure the results. Have you gotten any rest lately?

Sounds like my sleeping patterns every night. Trying different remedies

Things got better Chrissy! I focused on Yoga, laundry and cooking. Thank you for asking.

One minute at a time sometimes....one hour, then one day..... you'll catch up eventually.
