I’m learning to accept that I’m going to struggle not easy but you can’t beat yourself up (as easy as it is)
I’ve spent decades drinking now I’m months sober
I need me to want this for me
Good luck to you and me

Hi Melinda, but I learned in a rehab has really been beneficial to me of late is having jotted down on a piece of paper and keep it this bull at all times what my triggers are so they don't have power over me. And I add to the list. Things I would have never thought would trigger me I still don't carry money around that was my biggest trigger. Coping skills that are trying to true or to drink a bunch of ice cold water, take a nice long luxurious shower, call your friends on your list and talk talk. Take the power out of whatever is bother you analyze it thoroughly while you're going through it and you'll come out understanding yourself better love you Lauren

Stay strong!
We can't control what others do. We can only control our own actions

Im good

Im not

We get triggered, however
Drinking or using drugs will never make the situation better….
Sometimes we have to sit with the feelings , that’s the deal in recovery, we feel all of our feelings and emotions however, drinking or using isn’t our go to anymore.. one day at a time .
One trigger at a time..

Pray call a friend in recovery sponsor a meeting doing good for someone else
