So I have a question for everyone. Recently I have dealt with a lot of triggers and cravings which is weird because I stopped having them for months. I've also been dealing with a lot of nightmares of using. What are some ways to help handle these kids of things? I know mentally speaking I made the decision not to get high again and I plan to stick to that I just got my son home from Foster Care so getting high is not an option. I'd just like to find some ways that would be helpful for me to help handle days when I am triggered.

Triggers are tricky. For me changing my behaviors helped with being triggered. If I'm not in the same type of environment or mind set I'm likely to feel less triggered. Sending you strength my friend
Things that work for me is changing my environment, exercising of any kind, eating a sweet treat or something delicious.
If I resist a craving that’s really bad, I’ll buy myself a little gift afterwards to celebrate! Money better spent on you rather than drinks or drugs
