Don’t feed the fire gasoline. Go for a walk or run if you feel like it! Take a shower, or call someone (that’s not gonna freak out) and tell them how your feeling. Anything to reroute your thinking!

Find a good distraction. Like start reading a book or journal. Or heck, take a nice hot shower with some music playing at the background and sing to it, even if you have to make yourself sing.

Like I told some else it’s your body going through the change. It’s going back to normal healthy self. And we need to remember all this toxins we put in our. We have to prepare it your body paying back what you put it through. It’s only temporary it will pass. Be strong it won’t kill you it dose hurt a bit .

Cravings, I guess I deprived my self those basic cravings, one hour at a time in the beginning, over time it got much easier, next thing you know I have a year , crazy

The song ,I must got lost somewhere down the line,
J Giules band

Get your mind off of it. Get busy! Help a friend, a family member, go for a walk. Start a new DIY. A docile mind is a road to self sabotage

You can do this Ashleigh. Try some or all of the above suggestions. Eat a chocolate bar. Go to a pet shop, look at puppies, (I had 4 at one time in history) Do something to occupy your brain. Find a hobby that keeps your hands busy. Go take a nap. Run! Power walk! Take one hour at a time, just one hour. Your new life will be so worth it, when you get to the other side of this. You will be so proud of yourself bc you climbed to the top of the mountain. It's beautiful up there!

Keep your head up hun, it may seem hard at times but it's worth it in the long run. But if you do need someone to talk to here is my number I'm available anytime 208-718-0026

Call your sponsor or sober network it can really help to not drink that day

Stick with it Ashli!

Stand strong, you got this!! We are all right here with you

Just remember the craving will pass. Acknowledge the feeling but don't let it consume you. Find something to do that u enjoy to help get ur mind off of it

One day at a time.
