My wife called me crying on the way into work. I asked what's wrong. She said I am dreading another weekend with you drunk the whole weekend. I have to stop but dont have confidence I can.

Good afternoon Joh have you tried to go to an AA meeting??And work for me I just celebrated 23 years clean and sober. That was the only thing that worked for me was going to an AA meeting or a N A meeting.

Find a AA meeting near you and start going get numbers of men with a lot of quality time sober and call them

I watched a movie called the 13 th step it's about aa I'm 1yr 11 months sober I went to aa, it's just nooot for me. I go to DBT though and that's helped a lot. You could check it out I go online. You don't need to go to aa to be sober.

Consider medical detox and counseling. Definitely, there are other ways than AA. But, you have to want it. You can do it!!

Yes it's good to reach out. You'll find that we, and a lot of other people, want you to be well and succeed.
7 month in, I looked back on my history on this app. I am still Alcohol free, but vigilant to stay that way. I have not been to a meeting. You helped. Thank you.
