Pino, I understand that in a very deep way and I’m very sorry… I did the same thing when I was 26 and took me a long time to recover but I eventually did

Sorry you’re going through that. I would highly recommend not tethering your recovery to the outcome of that relationship. She might come back.. she might not.. either way you can thrive if you do the inside work required to stay sober.

Thanks...I do owe her a great deal of gratitude . Without her I would have kept drinking not thinking it was a big deal. Yes I'm ready to put the work in.

I lost someone to my drinking so please if you have a chance…please take it… it haunted me for years when I didn’t

Unfortunately pino I know the truth hurts but there may be no saving it. And you can't get sober for someone else you have to get sober for YOU. My ex girlfriend dumped me four months ago and already moved on. I know how you feel. But pino needs to work on pino right now. Two dead batteries don't start a car.

I am going through similar situation now. Lost the trust of my wife, my hiding my drinking, lies. We need to help ourselves first . We can do this.
