Good for you. Old friends from using days can be a dangerous combo. Keep on that sober path. Making all the right decisions.
Good call. Some friends are not meant to walk the road with us forever. If someone pressures you to destructive behavior they are not a good friend to keep.
I feel good because I was able to say no but also sad knowing I won’t be hangout with her as much as I did when I was drinking.
You need to drop any friend that doesn't respect your recovery. Hold on to the ones that do and surround yourself with like minded people. You made the right decision, good job!!
Just tell her. I have a dear friend who has a drinking problem and I plan to tell her I can only come up for a wknd if she doesn't drink. I hope it will encourage her to join me.
