The catch with not saying something about faith os this, if my faith in God helped me make it then why would I not share that. What you see as trying to convert a believer would see as encouragement. I encourage people to believe in God when I can, and I do have a particular faith I believe. I would discuss it with people when asked, but I still offer encouragement. Keep in mind there are studies that show the neurological benefits of prayer so if I say pray I am encouraging you to do something that has been proven to help alleviate tension, stress, and anxiety.
