Good morning Loosid community. I wanted to let you know that our beloved community manager Steve passed.

Many of you knew him as he always worked so incredibly hard to help anyone in the community with any issues.

Steve would call me late at night when we had a pressing matter with members who were struggling.

He loved this community so much. Many people don’t know how hard it is to always have and maintain a safe and supportive environment. Steve was our fierce advocate and represented all of those characteristics. That was his calling.

I want you to know that I believe, at the end of the day, we were put here on Earth to support one another, help one another and love one another.

Thank you Steve. We love you and will miss you tremendously.

Please put a comment if you care to share. Let’s show his wife Amanda how much he meant to us and send a thank you to Steve for keeping Loosid the amazing community that it is… and how much gratitude we have for his service.

Dãmn man. I was wondering what was going on. I had messaged him a few times asking him how he was doing because I hadn't heard from him lately. I even joked with him in those messages that I might have to "be mean" on here to get him to reprimand me like he usually did. That was kind of our thing. We didn't agree on some stuff, but agreed to disagree and Steve came off to me as a fair person who really cared about people, which I have nothing but respect for.

Miss you, Steve.

He was a shining star for sure. Hits hard. I’m sure he’s taken care of. Will be missed dearly. Dam. I’m crushed.

Rest in paradise. I just got here maybe a week or two ago and already I feel so supported and supporting others is actually more therapeutic than I ever imagined. Im so sorry for your loss, and the loss that many in this community carry.

I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. Steve was a wonderful man, and had such a sweet soul. Keeping Loosid up and running smoothly was a passion of his. He did a great job allowing everyone to communicate in a safe space. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Wishing Amanda and family strength snd peace during these trying times. We have been practicing the gift of surrendering and letting go on a daily basis in our recoveries. There is is no greater lesson than letting go of a loved one. May you find peace Amanda :pray:.

Thanks to all the work Steve and others have done to create Loosid. It has helped me and others greatly. Praying for family and friends.

My most sincere condolences to his wife and daughter first and foremost. Tragic.

Steve was great. Such a part of this community and truly a friend and supporter to all since the very beginning.

He leaves an empty space in this place impossible to replace. RIP Steve.
