One of my Facebook friends posted a quote which was basically discrediting and dismissing the work my community has fought against. I’m a proud lgbt representative. But when I saw that veiled hate and bigotry… I’m struggling. I know I’m stronger, but am so tired of fighting for basic human rights…
Very good advice. When coming out, one of the greatest challenges is working to free ourselves from the judgements of others. You walk a path that id misunderstood and even feared by many. Do not seek validation and self worth in the opinions of others. Work hard on self care, self love n self affirmations snd seek the company of those who encourage you n understand you.
