30 days ago, God gave me a wake up call. Coming off a heavy night of drinking, my normal headache turned into room spinning, lightheaded, and dizziness. I have not experienced this for several years. Took my blood pressure which turned out to be 168/98. After an hour I took my blood pressure again and then it was up to 174/102. Went to ER, and was there for over two hours. End result, my heart was in hypertension. I was released and went home. It didnt take long to understand I needed to change and this wake up call was a second chance. Today, I celebrate 30 days alcohol free! I feel great and don’t want that old lifestyle again. Its been a hard road. Lots of ups and downs mentally about wanting to drink but i have stayed the course. Looking forward to my 45 day goal! If I can do this, you can too. Peace and love to all!!

ER visit wasn’t a setback, it was a redirect, and you listened. Keep pushing through
