Since my heavy drinking has continued for all these years, I’ve had like two weeks sober… Thursday I got admitted to the hospital with acute pancreatitis. I was very close to having surgery. Doctors never seen levels that high. I think I finally get to go home today, but if this isn’t a wake up call, I don’t know what is.

That is a wake-up call. You’re still here so that means you’ve still got a shot to write a different ending. 2 weeks is huge, don’t let anyone minimize it. Proud of you. Let’s keep going.
