Wanna know the sucky part? I can't go back and do it differently. These are the choices I've made, and this is the place it has brought me.
Accepting that has been a struggle. Not all the time, but it hits me hard some days.

I can relate, as I’m sure most of us can. The destruction and harm we caused does rear its ugly head from time to time. I have found that the intensity of the sucky feelings does diminish as time goes by and we work a program of recovery. I’m 3 years in, and my wife struggles with the past. I can’t undo what’s done. I can only do my best today to be the best version of myself, as I support her thru her struggles with trying to forgive me. What’s coming back to haunt you?
