Want to get started on here and get connected with people. There are no AA meetings in the town I live in and I am trying my best not to drink but with no support

Welcome friend, lots of good people with solid sobriety around on this app. Sorry there isn’t an available meeting in your area, do you do online meetings?

Yes, download “in the rooms” on your phone and there is a host of online meetings. I used it a lot In early recovery. I always encourage to find a live meeting to meet quality friends to hang with but any connection to the recovery community is good. Maybe consider starting a meeting group also? In the meantime reach out on here, you can do this, your worth a healthy, sober life

There are hundreds of AA meetings that meet regularly via the Zoom app. The app is free. There are surly AA Zoom meetings in your state, area or county.

I am attending an excellent zoom meeting at 7:15 Eastern time you can find it on the AA intergroup website. It is named Expect a Miracle. Fellowship begins at 6:45 and people stay on awhile afterwards. Lots of strong experienced caring people.
