Happy Thanksgiving!
My day started off poorly as I accidentally damaged my car and can’t afford to fix it. It’s cosmetic but it makes me super sad. I‘m very lonely but was lucky enough to have my aunt and uncle invite me and my son to their daughter‘s home for a meal.
I wanted to drink so badly this morning after the accident but I didn’t.
My anxiety over everything and my guilt over the last ten years is awful.
But here I am and I‘m still sober!
This is what I did to my car 
Normally I‘d have gone straight to the liquor store for two or three minis- but I didn’t. Shew.

Good job. We just don’t drink no matter what. The car will or will not get fixed eventually.
As we say in AA there are no big deals.
Keep up the good work and focus on gratitude. Remember, if you drank like I did and made it through today sober; your a miracle
