Was just arrested for an OVI. Second within 5 years. I’m glad I didn’t wreck and hurt someone. I have struggled with alcoholism since I was 12 and I’m 53 now. I have hit rock bottom. I’ve lost 2 jobs recently because of this.

My journey was very similar to yours. My life was full of so many things that were sources of guilt, shame, embarrassment and resentment. But there is a better way!! Turns out I was wrong about pretty much everything I thought I knew!! Today my past has value and I’m so grateful for everything I survived. Keep your head up Lory!! Keep doing the very best you can right this minute and you’ll see!! Things will get better!!!!!!

The first few steps are the toughest!! They were hard for me too. I really didn’t want to admit that I was wrong and I couldn’t get better on my own. You got this!! Better days are ahead!!!
