Watch people who watch you

Some people don’t watch you because they support you — they watch because they’re studying you.
They are not always loud, obvious, or easy to spot. Sometimes they come through people who never celebrate you, but somehow never miss what you’re doing.
It’s the person who never claps, but always watches.
The one who asks questions just to carry your business somewhere else.
The one who goes quiet when you win, but gets curious every time your life starts moving forward.
That is not always innocent. Sometimes it is access disguised as interest.
Everybody checking on you is not rooting for you. Everybody watching is not supporting you. Some people only want information so they can twist it, use it, or speak against what you’re building.
But here’s the truth: they can watch the process, but they cannot stop the progress.
Stay quiet. Stay sharp. Stay discerning. Keep building anyway.
They may see you moving, but they still won’t know how you’re making it happen.

It takes time to know who you can trust with personal things. You’re allowed to take your time getting to know people and decide how much you want to share.
