We all come from different walks of life, rich or poor, Black, White, brown, but addiction and alcoholism don’t see race, color, or creed. They don’t care where you come from or who you are. They can grab ahold of anyone at any given time.
But recovery reminds us that no one is beyond hope and no one is too far gone. Through the brotherhood of AA and NA, we learn that we don’t have to walk this road alone. Even when we stumble and fall, our brothers and sisters in recovery are there to catch us, lift us up, and walk beside us through the journey. And through it all, there is a Power greater than ourselves guiding us, helping redirect our thinking, and leading us back to the path when we lose our way.
Because while addiction is a slippery slope, healing, faith, and recovery give us solid ground to stand on again, one day at a time.
Good morning with love
