We always look in the black and white loss and gain and especially time how have we gotten. All these rigid models of achievement or destruction. At some point it just gets down to making it to a place where we feel safe and knowing we have the tools to prepare and build for what comes next with a tiny bit peace of mind even if self doubt lingers in the background somewhere.
