We are not broken. No shame. I wear my alcoholism as a challenge not a detriment. We are wonderful loving people just like the rest. The fact that you’re reading this tells me you are STRONG. Because you are doing something about it! Taking action! Putting your pride aside for yourself and for everyone around you!
No more beating yourself up about it.
You are in control! Addiction is just another way for you to prove to yourself and everyone else how strong you are by kicking it’s a$$!
Doughnuts nah. Cigarettes nah. Negative thoughts nah.
Like minded humans? Yes! Productivity? Yes! Strength? Yes!
Don’t let your slip ups make you weak.
Embrace it and let it make you stronger!

Strong post brother
. I do feel like this at times. It’s the wreckage and pain I caused to my family that beats me down sometimes. Thanks for your post!

%100 bud. The thoughts always creep in. The what ifs. But now you’re teaching them that anything is possible. Can’t take back the past. You can learn, let go, and be 1,000 more AMAZING in the future!
Go take the rear view mirror out of your car. Looking backwards to much is going to lead to an accident
(Don’t actually take it off. It’s a metaphor)
