The last couple times I’ve gotten sober in the past, I wasn’t doing it for the right reasons. Deep down, I still thought this would be temporary, that I would learn how to moderate. One day, I would be able to go to happy hour again. Go out for margaritas with friends, have one or two, and that would be enough.
After these last few weeks, I’ve come to one conclusion. No more. On top of all that, I am truly, from the bottom of my heart, doing this for myself. Because I am worthy of a healthy, beautiful life. I am more than my mistakes. I am more than my trauma. For too long, I’ve let others determine my worth. I let so many people take, and take, and take. Until I had nothing left. No more.
I am worthy & deserving of good things. I am deserving of a great life.
I am more than my trauma.
Yep, you are.
I am proud of you! Great job.
What you said has given me inspiration for self love and staying sober. Thank you for sharing. You are worthy and deserving of a GREAT life!
I’m so glad!!
and you are worthy too!!
Thank you, Tim!
Thank you, Taylor!
I feel you
So so so worthy. We are not our trauma

Yes!! You are awesome and your sobriety is a beautiful thing!
Right back at you, Janet!
Felt that
I feel like the biggest step is to actually have that ‘want’ to do it for your own self. That’s big of you, know there will be hard times but in the grand scheme it’ll be worth it! Day by day
wish you luck
Thank you, Jeff!! You also!
Love this! Definitely still working on self love and self worth but being in recovery I've seen myself take huge strides in knowing I'm enough and worthy of living a fulfilling life on my terms. You got this!
Yes. You were born with your worth and deserve to be seen heard and valued for who you are.
