We lost another one

Unfortunately, we lost another one of our friends. He’s been in the room for 10 years. And just recently lost his life to an overdose.

I pray that we all finally surrender and understand that we have a sickness of the mind and body.

Please get a sponsor a home group and work the steps.

Troy ten years in the Program n its a tragedy for his family n loved ones n for us, his Fellowship. This does NOT have to be our story! This Program is lived One Day at a Time! Essentially, we just have to stay clean n sober one little day only! 24 hours, 6 or 8 spent sleeping! With all the support n encouragement, let’s go all in on our own rescue! Are we not worth as much effort as a fragile dog or cat, many of us have saved? I lost one a few weeks ago, only 32 n a dad, coming up on a 3 yr chip. 5 last year, 4 the year before n 3 the year before.Let’s stick around by working this simple Program. We have everything to gain.
Lov to you all, my Sober Nation. Sky B. :sun_with_face::dizzy::rose::sparkles::pray:t4:🪶:shell:❤‍🔥:rainbow::eagle::cherry_blossom:

It is so sad to see throughout the years how many people die. Sometimes I just want to shake the person and say look. I’ve gone through what you’ve gone through I had to work the steps now my life is amazing.

Please do the work help save your life.

I appreciate that Mike thank you brother

Thank you David. Have an amazing day.

Thank you Troy, for taking the time to be present here and encourage the Newcomer n those struggling or coming back from a slip or relapse.
That energy of carrying the message is so powerful n helps make our Program work by weaving us all together. Strength in numbers
! We have to stand up to the darkness by singing about the Light! All our voices shout the Truth! There is a Way to recover! Have a beautiful 24. Mine is almost done n I am grateful and amazed! In Fellowship, Sky B.:eagle:🪶:rainbow::dizzy:

Thank you it is really tough. But it is the reality. Some of us put the work in and we reap the benefits of another day. And unfortunately, some of us are in capable and die!!!

It is sad and depressing. Unfortunately it's part of recovery. Only a small percentage will stick and stay in recovery. The best advise I heard is never call yourself a chronic relapser cuz if you believe it you will continue relapsing instead call yourself a chronic pursuer of recovery!
