Im sonny, and im an addict, still! I attend mothership meetings when i cant find an othership meeting, but I prefer to be in a room full of drug addicts. Reason being, N.A. Is a we program, every step of the 12, starts with the word “we”, besides the 12th step, where the word we is in the middle. That tiny little word, riminds me that im not alone, and that i dont have to do this by myself!

Nikki Alcoholic/Addict! I got sober and clean by quitting cold turkey and just avoiding it .relapsed at one year, I go to virtual meetings as much as i can.

Hey Nikki - I was white knuckling it for a long time myself. I started going to in person and virtual meetings after 3 relapses and 3 trips to the hospital in 3 months. All that happened early this year.

You got this! Keep coming back.

I don’t drink or use drugs anymore. I go to meetings. I don’t brand myself with one fellowship. I identify as an addict. Living honestly with my emotions and openly with my fellowship and working steps keeps me sober. 3 years and counting.

I don't drink anymore and never did drugs. I'm not fixated on anything. A little AA, big on education and those shinny bracelets hurt in so many ways. So here I am and will help anyone who asks.

Hi, I’m Julia Alcoholic/Addict. Came to AA 1983. Didn’t sober up until 1/17/1998. AA is my 12th Step program. I still go to 1-3 meetings a week.
