- Grateful that a job is taking a chance on me, looked past what was, and taking a chance on what I am capable of
- Grateful for the opportunity to present my story this past weekend to juveniles in the system in hopes I at least reached one of them to change their lives

I too loved the opportunities of talking to younger people about my story, letting them know that age isn't a factor so much in getting addicted. And a favorite insight: it doesn't matter How Much or How Often I drank/ got high, but What Happened when I used it.... and If it caused a problem(s), then It Is a Problem! Addiction -and/or- Alcoholism.
