Yesterday, I went out for dinner. The restaurant gave me my dessert on the house. I went to a local business to buy some greeting cards and got 3 free (no coupon, deal, nor anything of the like). I'm grateful God looks out for me; and businesses taking care of their customers.

When my car broke down, I was right around the corner from a mechanics shop, and it turns out they know my boss from way back...it will be more affordable than I expected.
Lately I've been adding Air Conditioning to my gratitude list often after working long days in the heat and humidity here in TN.
Gratitude journaling has been one of the most helpful tools for me in recovery. Pretty quick results when it comes to changing thought patterns and the mindset I bring to the world every day. I definitely notice when I don't do it. I'm grateful that this practice was suggested to me, and that I listened and took action and let it go to work on me.
My awesome neighbor that safely drove me to outpatient surgery Thursday and took care of me until Friday.
