Well Iโm back. Day 2 again ๐ซ
But you have the opportunity to have a day twoโฆ thatโs something!
Welcome back, one day at a time โฆ
You just Gotta keep on, keeping on! You got this!
That emoji isn't an eye roll- it's looking up! Whether it's looking up in a positivity sense or religiously... whatever drives you but something obviously drives you because you're back on track. We don't do this most important thing in lockstep unison but we do it together. Congrats and all the best wishes.
Me too.
ODAAT great job not giving up
Hey Kayla, glad you're back. Now change the attitude. You last post says you knew you would. That says you already gave in. You can not try at this you have to do. It is as simple as that. You don't have to buy the booze and that's enough time to change your mind. Yes I self medicated for yrs, even double the dose. I bet you are doing the same. Let me ask how's that working out for you. Didn't work for me either. Read the book Alcohol Explained by William Porter it's easy to read and understand what alcoholic does to keep you addicted. Then check out Gillian Tietz's podcast, website, and YouTube. She's a recovering and talks first hand about the affects of Alcohol. Very informative and straightforward. Reach out anytime
Happy to see you back! Remember this is your chance to live your BEST life in Sobriety, One Day, One Hour, One Minute, One Breath at a time if necessary. I believe in you, and so does your HP! #odaat
Kayla, welcome back..Dust yourself off and keep climbing. REMEMBER your not alone we're hear for you..You Go Girl.. you got this..
And now you have that experience to learn and grow from!
The first/only and last time I relapsed, it lasted 4 months and dam near killed me. I so wish I hadnโt done that, but I canโt go back and change it. Only learn and grow from it.
Stay with it and stay with us. Weโre all here for each other.
Heck I didnโt ever tell a soul I was thinking about quitting for my first 700 or 800 day 1โs.
This is not a battle of willpower. If you drink like I drank, youโll need a power greater than yourself to let go of it. But you can do it. Because I did it when I believed it was impossible.
Hey, hope you're doing well.
...but you are back. It means you know what to do and you know what you truly want. The only one rolling your eyes is you. Everyone else is excited for you. Look at me, haven't had to roll my eyes to a relapse in 33 days. I had 6 hard but clear months off and 2 horrible months on, and now one month off and counting.
It sucks for sure when we succumb to weakness but can feel better after accomplishing each day clean through strength .
Your 2 days will be 2 weeks soon. Next phase is the dry drunk irritations. 4 weeks and 30 meetings later you get your chip you can't dip in salsa and eat but put in your pocket as the reminder of your hard work. You will feel and look healthier and each day will have more discovery and need for discipline but it's worth it. The strange feeling of freedom from slavery is incredible. You won't have to roll your eyes anymore...
...and if you notice, all the boys are surrounding you like sharks smelling blood. Find a good female sponsor right away.
We learn and we grow better better each time! Glad you are back! Grateful for new opportunity!
Welcome back
Not so much. But thank you.
Keep smiling:) itโs a new day..
So glad youโre back! Youโre alive. Thank God. Remember โJust for today.โ Focus on being sober, just.for.today.
