Well, it looks like Sober Grid has finally gone away

Well, it looks like Sober Grid has finally gone away. This is quite upsetting as I've been an avid "gridder" for the past 5 years. BUT I'm grateful that this app is available as a replacement! :+1:t2:

It finally shutdown? Wow! Think it was August when they put up the announcement.

It was late August when the announcement was made. I can't get in now. "Content no longer available". :sob: It was there as of this afternoon

But with a silver lining

It was another sober community support app such as this one. Not exactly sure why it shut down.

I heard the founder/CEO was found killed. He disappeared in 2021 a year before they found him. Sad story. But they could only keep the app afloat for so long.

It's all around tragic. The founder found dead, people without jobs, and a loss of community. My heart truly breaks for all affected.

I hope the gridders give and receive the same support as they once did on Sober Grid. I'm looking forward to you all helping the community.

Feel free to contact support@loosidapp.com anytime. You can contact me anytime as well. But it may take me awhile to respond.

I was thinking (hoping) the same thing

I really appreciate that. My biggest point of confusion on this app is the irregular order of the posts in the feed. Is it a setting I need to adjust to see a current daily feed or is it always like that?

It's always like that. The order is based on latest activity, i.e, like or comment.

Impermanence
