Well today I feel great no complaints.. Just wondering why on certain topics I become emotional when I speak.Especially anything that has to do with my parents because unfortunately they have passed away and I'm having trouble with making amends to them.

That is completely normal. I get choked up talking about people I love who are gone. When it comes to making amends with them know that they love you and want you to live your best. Live in their honor, it is the best way to make amends.
I am reminded of Gandhi. One day he had a man come to him who said he had sinned so badly he could never be forgiven. He went on to tell of horrible atrocities he had committed against the Muslims of India. Gandhi told him that to be forgiven he must adopt a Muslim orphan and even though he was a Hindu he had to raise the child as a Muslim. Sometimes the only way to make amends to those who are gone, is to take their dreams as our own and make them happen.
Thanks for the encouraging words Steve
