Well… today the stressors hit pretty hard…. Bills, work and stress of feeling stuck in a routine and cycle… reset my sobriety counter again…

It happens man. Now you can brush yourself off and start new. The routine becomes almost like a comfort. You know what to expect and can see triggers coming so you can cut them off. Don’t beat yourself up. Be kind to the guy looking back at you from the mirror.

How’s it goin’ man? Looked like a minute since you last posted. Doing alright? Totally agree with Tim. Don’t beat yourself up. I know it’s stupid, but talk to yourself the way you would talk to a little puppy. Probably very different than the way you currently treat yourself…

I’m doing okay man, 13 days today. Been working in Indiana trying to take it a day at a time

Thank you for checking on me, means a lot especially around 2 weeks this is the struggle point for me

No doubt. You’re welcome. It’s not much but we all need a pick-me-up every now and again. Glad your well!

Everyone’s different. I don’t go to meetings and I know that’s super important when working the steps, but I like sober podcasts and walking my dog. I get nervous energy so I have to move around. Biking is great, I do a boot camp workout in the morning. Whatever I takes to not sit around and think about sabotage.

Where can I find a sober podcast? I get the nervous energy I like to go on hikes if I’m not working just to get out of my head

Cool, I definitely get that. I use Apple Podcasts but Spotify works really well too. My jam is definitely Rehabitat Recovery with Dallas Parker. I also like Sober Curious with Ruby Warrington. Something about an English accent that feels like a warm bubble bath. :joy::joy:
