Went to a concert last night, never realized how aggravating

Went to a concert last night, never realized how aggravating it is being around a bunch of drunk people!:rage:
Also, ran into a bunch of people that I haven’t seen since I have been sober, the questions they were asking me- How are you doing? Are you hanging in there? Are you feeling ok? Always touching my shoulder. You would of thought I was diagnosed with a fatal illness. My wife says they are just concerned about me ( which very well could be ) but non the less I felt uncomfortable. Day 75 sober for me.

Yes I learned this a few years ago. It's awful to watch your friends devolve into drooling imbeciles who keep scream repeating themselves with terrible breath too. So tedious.

Same thing happened to me when I was early in sobriety. The people that act like you have an incurable illness are just uncomfortable. They don’t know how to act, or what to say. Most don’t like looking and comparing their choices to yours. I got to the point where I actually said “I got sober, I am not dying” now I actually play along and see how far I can mess with them.. like a game.
