Went to first AA meeting tonight! So many emotions as people were talking. At the end there wAs a chip ceremony and I surrendered to Booz. I feel so happy and excited right now. And I don’t want to celebrate at the bar. First step for the rest of my life.

Congrats Gavin! Welcome to the club! To some AA sounds like a death sentence. For me, I got my life back. My wife got her husband back. My kids got their father back. Keep coming back brother

Great job man! Just keep hitting meetings and working the steps. It will get easier! Like Lee, AA saved me, and gave my family back the true me.

Keep coming back. Also, my first sponsor told me the ages old secret to sobriety. That is; I don’t have to quit drinking forever, I only need to not drink today. I may be drunk next month. But I just don’t drink today. No matter what.
