What a rough Halloween for this old man.
Apparently my robber/theif costume was a massive fail in this (neighbor) hood!
I am blind enough without a ski mask on which made seeing in the dark hard.
The bright yellow bag I had and my lamp did not help hide me from my targets.
I was unable to steal candy from any kids.
I did try in vain in front of a few parents.
My attempts were met with "I will kick your a$$!!!" lol.
So I gave my candy to the adults that were giving. I figured they could use the sustenance.
My attempts at vandalism failed too. I could not find a single sign with "BOO" written on it. So I could not add "BS" to complete it and make me think happier thoughts.
If I live to the next Halloween, I will attempt to redeem myself.
RIP Nightmare.
Who said sober is not fun?
I will remember this tomorrow morning and may even smile
