What do you do for your mental health? I used to really enjoy Audiobooks, but I feel like I'm in a slump and can't get into them. I was journaling a lot, but that too has dropped off in the last month. I want to start exercising more and doing yoga, but it's been hard scheduling the time and holding myself accountable.
You can practice yoga at home. YouTube has an extensive collection of classes. Try gentle/restorative yoga, yoga Nidra (guided meditation)
I like the self help audio books I get from my library for free.
Soulbriety by Elisa Hallerman was very insightful.
I walk, I juice vegetables.
Just shake it off man! Just do one thing at a time!
I take long walks down the larger park trails, especially if they have water of any kind in the same. Allows me to look at something new outside of my apt because sometimes being trapped in here makes things worse. I’ll listen to music along the way too sometimes or I’ll just listen to the nature and try to really be in the moment by looking at the different creatures and trees. Really good mindfulness hack. Helps to clear the mind.
It's very good that you have reached out to those of us on this app. But if you can, or even if you're willing to speak to a professional about always losing interest in things that you've once enjoyed doing. There may be an underlying issue, That could possibly lead you down a dark path. I hope I haven't made too much out of this. I responded to this post because I care.
That’s a really good question. Some days I nail it and other days I don’t. Audio books, podcasts, books, etc I had to take a break because I can only absorb so much. Maybe a good break is what you need. Helping another person struggling is always as a good go-to for me.
