I am a Realtor. I get paid as much work as I put in. Something I like to think of is if you do what you love you never work a day in your life and also you work to live not live to work. I’m similar to you in a way that I like my clients to come to me. I’m not a sales shark by any means I cringe at the thought of cold calling, but if I have 50 people calling me I will help each and every one of them happily so my marketing is a bit different. Also it’s good that you know your strengths and weaknesses, maybe look into what it would take to hire someone to do the online stuff since you know you’re not so good at it, then focus your time and energy on the things you enjoy and excel at. Last thing I think of myself as an extroverted introvert
I don’t like meeting new people but I feel like I can pep talk myself into say doing a networking meeting for an hr, or go and hand out 5 cards, or stuff like that because that will allow you to get out of your comfort zone comfortably if that makes any sense:rofl:
growth happens outside of your comfort zone
I drive a Front Load Dumpster Truck for Waste Management. I love my Job!
Oo hire someone to do the marketing and such I like that! Never thought of it thank you lol .. no like wow marry me no im just kidding but seriously though,
there are websites where you can hire people to do stuff like that usually the ones who speak english are fairly expensive but considering the fact that my specific field wouldn’t require more than 2 or 3 hours per week, if that. Wow.
Clear and set in stone repetitive task with the freedom of being on the road and going different places.. like doordash for trash, I love it! Did you have to get your cdl?
Yes, I already had it and the opportunity arose, so I jumped on it.
I own an Italian quick service pasta franchise, and do freelance graphic design.
I’m a Aba assistant, i help come up with behavioral intervention plans for kids with autism.
I sell property and casualty insurance and, like Ally, I can work as much or as little as I want. I don’t do cold calling, I’m all referrals and online marketing.
When I get irritated with it I have to reset my attitude to a positive one and remember to try and be helpful and patient.

Thank all of you so much for your responses! It’s heart warming to know that so many of you are all doing different things and they’re all really unique. It’s given me a lot to think about!
My therapist is actively working with me to help me be more future oriented and find a little direction in my life. It’s always been hard for me to be successful or even a certain level of stable like everyone else. ADHD is a mofo, it’s really challenging for me to focus and think ahead. 🫤
