I paint pet portraits. I started painting after about 3 months of sobriety. It keeps my mind occupied and is very calming to me.
2 years and 6 months and I still go to a meeting (and a pre meeting) every morning. I look forward to seeing my possum!

Read all you can to find ways to ease the way into a life were you will be able to heal. Your healing has begun.
Snowboarding, wheeling, shooting, volunteering, sober get togethers, hiking, riding my motorcycle, doing dorky day trips with my kids, and making plans and actually doing them. Just a couple of things.
I make healthy choices. Physically I work out. Eat better than I used to. Don't out poisons in my body. Mentally I keep my calmness. I respect my boundaries and make sure others do as well. I make it a point to always have a learning opportunity nearby.
