What exactly is your sober date? Is it the day you took your last drink or the first day you didn’t drink at all?

I started counting on day after the hangover day. So nothing was still in my system. Because every hangover day I promised God I'd never drink again LOL

Doesn’t really matter. Just that you quit is all that matters.

Okay thanks. I was just wondering. I took my last drink on my birthday so I put the day after as my sober date. Was just wondering I guess. Thanks.

I was just having a conversation about this with my sponsor yesterday because she accidentally wished me a happy birthday yesterday when it’s actually today so February 8 was the last time I took a drink so I don’t consider that a sober day. So February 9 is my sobriety birthday. However when I did find out from my grandsponsor is that Bill W his sobriety date is the last day he drink. So you can pick whatever way you want. I like to go with the day after my last drink because that’s a sober day. I was not sober at all on February 8 last year I missed that whole day

My birthday was Feb. 4th. I put the 5th as my sober date so I have 4 days sober.

Happy Birthday sorry I missed it. I don't remember much of my last drink. I guess you could ask the cop. I chose the day after. The important thing is you are sober and that is a real good thing. Best of luck in your journey.
