What has sobriety given you?

For me, the gifts are almost too numerous to list. I was homeless, on parole, fentanyl addicted, and hopeless. Now, im off parole, in a great sober living house, in school to become a drug counselor, happy, hopeful, and helpful, and best of all, free from the horror of opiates! Im even off of suboxone! Life is GRAND!

Right on congratulations in going to be a drug counselor. That is pretty freaking cool keeping the eye on the prize while enjoying all of the prizes that you see everyday!

Sobriety has given me EVERYTHING! I was a meth/fent addict with nothing, facing serious prison time. Almost five years later, all my legal problems have been taken care of, I'm married, have a great job, and own a home in the south bay of LA County. The promises come true! You just have to work for them!

I used to think that the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel all alone.
