What helped me hit my wall was drinking two gallons

What helped me hit my wall was drinking two gallons of vodka by myself over that weekend, not remembering the weekend or how I got three huge bruises, one in my back, one in my left backside and one on my arm. I could barely move when I woke up in my apartment (I had not gone anywhere or was with anyone so at least I was in a safe place.). I was cold sweating and threw up for two days, could not keep anything down. And my heartburn was so bad it almost made me tear up in pain. I said screw this forever this is ridiculous - money wasted, zero Fun, nothing solved, missed a couple of interviews and realized I was really playing with fire and needed to quit this absolutely stupid behaviour and get sober immediately. WHY was I even doing that in the first place???? I got through the first few rough days with zero alcohol or sleep aids and was finally able to sleep like a normal person. It felt amazing and super motivating. Out of mental habit I am like oh, need vodka…. Then I remember the horror and it feels sooooooo good to keep walking in the other direction. I interviewed and start my new job on Monday!!! Remember…. EVERY DAY IS A RESET!! And so much more managable and enjoyable with a clear head! Hope and opportunity start to poke their little sprouts through the dirt! Take advantage of your reset chance and make the most of it. Put that money you are about to spend on drugs or alcohol into a big jar and watch how fast it adds up and then start investing it into Stash or put it on an Acorn card or a savings account that earns interest. You can do this!!! Message me if you’d like to chit chat. Tomorrow is another chance to reset your future toward the better you! Peace and have an amazing reset day!
