What helps you staying sober?

This week has definitely been stressful for me. So much memories coming back, good and bad. Which gives me cravings on wanting to use. So isolate myself from the world, which helps me not to get tempted.
I’ve been praying :palms_up_together: and hoping that everything will be okay.
Today I’m pretty excited to go swimming 🏊‍♂️ for a workout.

Distracting and not dwelling on the cravings helps me, Joshua. The cravings dint deserve any time or attention!

You’re awesome thanks for sharing! :raised_hands:t3::raised_hands:t3:

My past regrets and rock bottoms keep me sober as well as attending AA meetings and reaching out to some of the fellows.

Isolated is where our disease wants us. The opposite of addiction is connection. If you’re not in the rooms, get there and start connecting.

“The opposite of addiction is connection.” I can’t tell you how those 6 words just made me feel. I now have an interview for a job that’s very social and I’m very nervous because I use to isolate myself so your words really helped me an you didn’t even know it. Thank you!

Keep going until you find one you like! We can't do this alone.
