Currently I am reading the AA big big and also Education Of A Felon by Eddie Bunker (Mr. Blue, Reservoir Dogs).
I’m currently finishing up Dry by Augusten Burroughs and reading through the Refuge Recovery handbook.
Cool, I really liked Running With Scissors.
He is funny. I like his style.
Yeah for sure, I dig it too.
I just finally bought a copy of Reservoir Dogs the other day! I’m into my big book, as well, and ‘We All Fall Down’ by Nic Sheff.
Living Sober and The Gifts Of Imperfection by Brene Brown
12 and 12 and the Tao te Ching. Every day.
Given up on me?
Always reading
A book about recovery, Pain Killer by Brandt Mahreys, former NHLer who turning. Also the only player to ever receive a lifetime ban from the league.
Or some shameless self-promotion… my debut novel about grief, caregiving, and angels of death. A dramatic suspense fiction.
Godspeed, Good Man
Just started Travels in Alaska by John Muir
Daniel Amen’s ‘Your Brain is Always Listening’
Great Book!
Naked Mind
Life is Messy
I always alternate between a sobriety book and something else. Current sobriety book: Quit Like A Woman (Holly Whitaker). Current historical fiction: Cloud Cuckoo Land (Anthony Doerr).
Love the refuge recovery book and program. I’ll be at the NC Retreat this fall
12 steps and twelve traditions. I’m reading one step and one tradition a week and then reviewing them with my sponsor and his sponsor via zoom. It’s been a good way to dive more into AA. I feel it’s helping me be a better sponsor and AA member. Also, reading the big book with sponsees. I haven’t started but this book yet,
I stand on Holy Ground by Joel S. Goldsmith. I liked a few others I’ve read of his as these are spiritual books… was looking to deepen my spirituality.
Dark night of the soul., ( Turn it around get a rewrite )If they threw it in lyrics of a song, it must be good. No really, Killer book....
