I have friends urging me to do the same but for a very expensive back surgery. I think it is fine. I won't likely do it but I have my reasons why. I hope you meet your goal. One tip I'd to share on social media and make it a "shareable" post. That is how these things tend to be successful, from what I understand.

I haven’t set up the transfers yet so I’ll figure out how to return the 3 donations after another week of trying this. I am not being negative, just realistic. Thank you for any consideration. I can’t post any links on here anymore.

Because the amount raised isn’t enough to do anything related to what I need it for. So if I close the fund raiser, it’s only proper to return them.

Understood. I didn't realize you were hoping to raise that amount of money in such a short period of time. So it can be done, it just takes a little time and for certain, you would need someone to spread the word across platforms like Facebook and Instagram, preferably someone with a wide reaching audience. If you can find d that person, that amount of cash should be pretty easy to raise.

Asking your local churches for help is another route. That is what they are there for. You don't have to be a member of even ever attend. Not all will help a non-member but many. Perhaps most . They may even have a dentist who attends willing to do it for free. I hope this helps some.

I put the Statius update to 200 dollars is my goal. It’s fine. I feel incredibly bad that I asked at at all. I shouldn’t have.

Well, in my opinion, you should not. Clearly, you felt incredibly humbled by asking to begin with. Go fund me has certainly seen plenty of blatant misuse and this does not at all fall into that category..
