What’s the best way to find an in person addiction therapist? I haven’t had any luck with google. I’m looking for one I can see once a week.

Ask your doctor, network at a meeting, human services at your city hall, local hospital website should have resources, has to be a counseling organization near you. Even your state website should have addiction resources. Good luck!

Just out of curiosity I did a Google search for addiction counseling in big Creek.... Lots of things came up. You'll find something if you want it

I did my search near my house and near my office and had no luck. I’ll keep looking.

Good luck. One to one was good for me. Hated meetings. Ask if you want help, I will and plenty of others will too.

I actually talked to a counselor today that I had when I was in an outpatient years ago (I was attempting to avoid jail). I like the fact that I'm familiar with her as I'm usually closed off with people I don't know. We're meeting soon.
