What’s the point of this app?

To support one another in our recovery. To post when we feel the urge to use so that we might not feel alone. To celebrate one another's achievements. To create an online fellowship.

^ spot on, also mental health support, for me, I prefer this over meetings. My struggle isn’t entirely with sobriety, but I struggle feeling mental stable at times since I’ve been sober for about a year and a half

If this app falls in the middle of a forest but nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

This app gives you the opportunity to talk with people who are going through what you are going through. Who understand the daily struggle. Who can celebrate your sobriety. Not drinking for a week is nothing to a non-alcoholic. To us, it’s everything.

I’m considering this app an online support group (that u get to pick yourself by adding ppl as friends ) esp important to me on the days I don’t go to my outpatient group! So I don’t ever feel alone in this sobriety journey

If you have to ask that you might not belong here!

Reasonable question.
