What’s your favorite pastime for insomnia?

I seriously love that advice. I’m not much of a facial and nails kinda guy, but I appreciate where you’re coming from.

Guys have their own grooming techniques whatever it is you do

I fell off the couch laughing…and been ashamed ever since.

Generally cut my nails with wire cutters and wash my hair with a bar of soap. But I only bathe on Saturday nights….sometimes.

Guess I should feel the same way! Hahaha :flushed:

Well…one can only hope😉

Either way…I won’t be doing that. Tonight’s adventure is shaping up to be Carmel and Waffle cone ice cream with the last episode of Breaking Bad. Not nearly as exciting, but…

I did melatonin for a while. My son uses it. Pound for pound, the gummies are better than pills.
Trazadone hasn't been habit forming for me, but everyone is different. I know a guy that can't sleep no matter what without it.

:+1: at this point, I’d settle for just feeling tired…at all.

Valerian root, GABA, and L-Theanine along with the activity Rylan mentioned. Works every time!!

Norm MacDonald compilations/playlists on YouTube. Humor brings calm. Calm brings sleep. Love the guy.

Genius, more than likely. Master of logic, absolutely.

Ive listened for years..years….since cassettes to speaker tapes and now CD’s.
So that way my brain is focused on that, I hear some great talks because of it, and I’m the speaker chair at a lot of conferences too. The next night i rewind to wherever I left off when I went to sleep. It just saved me for 30 years. If anyone wants me to send them some I would be happy to.
Or google XMspeakers.com. There are hundreds of them. I could sure recommend some good ones.

Would have been exciting if it was camel ice cream as I read it wrong  smh

Yeah…that’s a whole different thing. You can only have it on Wednesday’s.

…and it wasn’t the last episode. I had 3 to go, and since the ice cream/episode combo was off I was morally obligated to watch something else.

Well dang!! lol

If you like puzzle games. Look up “The room” from fire proof games. There are four of them and I played them when I could not sleep.

I was struggling with insomnia. Taking magnesium about 45 minutes before I go to bed has helped.

The biggest boost has come from deadlifts. I do high weight, low rep, 3 sets. The days I deadlift, I sleep like a baby.
